Zeina is an experienced teacher with a passion for chess, solving mysteries, and puzzles. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from York University and began her career as a Science and Mathematics teacher in Dubai, UAE. After obtaining an American teaching license in Washington, DC, she served as a Grade 2 and 3 PYP Homeroom Teacher at an IB school, followed by a position as a Grade 1 classroom teacher at an American international school. In 2022, she returned to Canada to teach Grade 4 at an IB school in Brampton, Ontario. Last year, she joined Gobind Sarvar School as a PYP Grade 3 teacher, and she is now excited to advance her IB career as the IB PYP Coordinator at Gobind Sarvar School. Her teaching philosophy focuses on empowering students to become lifelong learners and critical thinkers, inspiring a love for learning while equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
