Gurmat Program


This Program is designed to connect our Students with Gurbani and inspiring them to stay connected to their roots and follow Guru Granth Sahib Ji’s teachings. Students can blossom to their full potential through the knowledge of Gurmukhi (written form of Punjabi), Gurmat (Guru Ji’s teachings and values), Gurbani (Guru ji’s sacred utterances), Gurbani Kirtan (the sikh musical art form of singing God’s praises. 

This program is offered everyday to all the grades. JK has 20 mins Gurmat block whereas K to G3 has 40 mins Gurmat block everyday.

Our Program is designed as :- 2 days for Gurmukhi, 2 days for Gurmat Sangeet and 1 day for Gumat.

Gurmukhi

This course is designed to provide an introduction to the script and basic grammar of the Punjabi language, which is written in the Gurmukhi script.

Gurmat Sangeet

 

This course is designed to provide an introduction to the devotional singing and musical tradition of Kirtan. By the end of this course students will have the ability to participate in Kirtan singing and be able to lead a simple Kirtan session.
