PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
Full-day Kindergarten programming supports children so that they get benefit from extra time in class to build important skills in an inclusive, play-based environment.
GOALS
- Develop early language, literacy, numeracy and motor skills
- Learn to share, co-operate, be responsible, problem-solve, self-express and make decisions
- Participate in group and individual classroom activities
- Develop positive attitudes toward learning
- Develop a sense of confidence and self-esteem

ELIGIBILITY
Children must be five years old on or before December 31 to be eligible for Full-Day Kindergarten.
We have limited slots available. Parents are advised to register your child ASAP if you are interested in this Program.
ALBERTA CURRICULUM
All Edmonton Public Schools programming is based on curriculum determined by Alberta Education. Children enrolled in Full-day Kindergarten will receive the same high-quality education offered in all of our programs.
